Decorated Sugar Jar Lid

With some extra cute fabric I had, I decided to put it on the lid to our sugar jar.

Here is how I did it:

First I cut out a circle of fabric big enough to cover the top and sides of the lid. Then I cut slits all around the edges.

Then I held the edges while I Mod Podged them to the lid. I let part of it dry, then did the other half. 

It took me quite a while to do this with fabric. I think next time I will definitely use scrap-booking paper. :)
